Social networking sites have become major targets for hackers.

They forgot to mention that it’s Microsoft’s fault that people have such unsecure computers at home.
That they keep getting off scott free is beyond me.

  • No my friend… They mean ALL links. You can get infected by seeing ads on a webpage no matter how legitamate, and using hacks you can make a link look like another address than what its going to.

    The ONLY safe way is to directly or through a reputable well known search engine, go to a site.

    Yeah… I am proffesionally trained and I don’t either.

  • they mean unknown links. like my friends on msn sends my links that i know are bull because of the name of the link

  • All the anti virus software in the world won’t guard against a well crafted phishing scam. Shortened URL’s are one of the big problems.

    And not enough detail, especially concerning the news headline item.

  • Are comments turned off here? The one I just wrote didn’t get posted. Anyway, links are something that make cyberspace useful. Why do you think they were invented?
